Another Masterplast donation arrived to the Association of Ambulance for Children of Hungary

At the end of last year, it was the fifth time in a row when we launched our year-end project where our Partners, with their purchases, could accumulate the amount of donation raised for the Association of Ambulance for Children of Hungary. In the framework of the agreement made by Masterplast and between the Association of Ambulance for Children of Hungary, established in 2015, through our donation that we raise together with our partners, we provide help to purchase medical or educational equipment used for ambulance with special needs. The cooperation has focused on targeted needs, therefore, we had already contributed to the purchase of mannequins used for practicing life saving, as well as a portable blood lab and portable ultrasound tools for medical-diagnostic.

With the donation in the value of HUF 1,925 million raised this year, we contributed to the purchase of a portable pulmonary ventilator. With this aid, the amount of donation delivered during the years reached HUF9 million.

“The association has been operating emergency vehicles for children across the country for 14 years. At the beginning, our goal was to improve the modern emergency care of children in cooperation with the National Ambulance Service. The emergency vehicles are operated by the NAS based on the emergency calls. Thank you, Masterplast and your Partners for continuously supporting us with your donations.” – said MD Eva Gesztes, head of the Association of Ambulance for Children of Hungary.

Last year a new project started on sanitarian education in schools, run together by Masterplast and the Association of Ambulance for Children of Hungary, where doctors/trainers of AACH provide education about essential life-saving methods and prepared more than 400 teachers in Fejer county to prevent emergency situations.

“The most essential first 10-15 minutes of emergency situations are in the hand of the first-aider, and this time can save life. During the action it is crucial to remain calm and start the first aid immediately. On these events, we provide trainings about the basic protocol” – added MD Eva Gesztes.

Our joint program continues in 2020, and we enriched our valuable trainings for teachers with presentations on drug prevention.
