Maintenance Manager

placeShow on mapWe are looking for Maintenance Manager who is going to build with us amazing new plant of rock wool which is a unique installation in this part of Europe. We are looking for an ambitious engineer to take on project engineering tasks, until the plant is built.
Tasks
During the installation phase You will be responsible following points:
- purchasing and installation of technical equipment in the plant.
- coordinating production work order documents and drawings between the designer and contractors. (example: metal elements)
- Place purchase orders for the materials and services required for the project, based upon project parameters, best price and availability.
- Recruit and build strong maintenance team
- Create the maintenance rooms (tools, structure, etc.)
- Create procedures and rules for maintenance operation (EHS, 5S rules)
During the operation phase you will be responsible:
- for leading the team to drive strong reliability of equipment leading to a reduced mean time from a fault detection to restoration and ensuring high equipment availability (TPM)
- Communicate with and organize the subcontractors during the frequent maintenance period.
- Responsible for excellent teamwork and cooperation with the internal customers.
- Active control of the maintenance budget to ensure cost efficiency. Keep the spare stock updated.
- Ensure that the team operates with a safety mindset and works to improve equipment safety.
- Ensure the availability of necessary and correct spare parts to maximize plant operational uptime while minimizing costs.
- Collaborate with the Management team regarding continuous improvements.
- Ensure development of maintenance skills around troubleshooting and root cause failure analysis.
- Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of equipment and machinery performance.
Ideal applicant
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (in Engineering or Industrial Technology) is preferable.
- 5 to 7 years Maintenance Management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) experience.
- Safety orientation, excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with experience and knowledge of sound employee relations.
- Strong financial and budget skills.
- English language required.
- Experience in glass or stonewool maintenance and/or installation is an advantage.
