Masterplast acquired 25% ownership in T-CELL Plasztik Company Ltd in June 2019. The main profile of T-CELL Ltd. is polystyrene manufacturing in its two plants in Hungary – Hajdúszoboszló and Zalaegerszeg – with a 300,000 m3 EPS production capacity annually. With the purchase of the share, Masterplast strengthens its position as a professional investor in the Hungarian insulation material buisness, and with its existing knowledge base, primary material supply, distribution, and logistics background can support T-CELL who owns 10 % market share. With the cooperation of the two Hungarian companies, Masterplast’s existing manufacturing background enjoys further strengthening, and due to sales, capacity growth, and favourable logistics factors help to meet domestic customer needs.
