Our Csór plant produces Thermobeton, which adds up-to-date thermal and acoustic insulation solutions to the Group's range. The plant — the Thermobeton factory of Fidelis-Bau Kft. — came into the ownership of the Masterplast Group through an acquisition in 2020.
Hungarocell Green Program
The acquisition of the company opened up the possibility of launching Masterplast's green programme, the Hungarocell Green Program.
As the first company to create a circular economic model in the Hungarian construction industry, we focus on collecting the residues that arise from the use of Hungarocell polystyrene and XPS products. In our plant based in Csór, we then transform them into new insulation materials called Thermobeton.
Thermobeton manufacturing
The thermo-insular Thermobeton is a lightweight insulation additive that, by adding water and cement, forms an easy-to-use, load-bearing insulating material.
It is ideal for roof loft insulation, roof pitching, and making swimming pools with concrete, and for many other purposes in construction.
