Investor information

Our business philosophy: a harmonious unity of constant development, a customer-focused approach and carefully nurtured partnerships.

A brief company history

Founded in 1997, the Masterplast group is the largest Hungarian-owned construction materials manufacturer in the Central Eastern European region.

The company's revenue exceeded 171 million euros in 2025, and its headcount approached 1,100. With its subsidiaries it maintains a direct market presence in 10 European countries, and through its export partners it is present in the majority of European countries.

Stock exchange presence

The technical introduction of the company's shares on the Budapest Stock Exchange took place on 29 November 2011.

To finance its manufacturing development plans, the company carried out a successful capital increase on the stock exchange in 2012. Since October 2017 its shares have been listed in the Premium category of the Budapest Stock Exchange.

On the strength of its crisis-resistant business performance and steadily improving profitability, Masterplast was the best-performing share on the Budapest Stock Exchange in 2020–2021, and on 16 March 2021 the company's shares were admitted to the BUX and BUMIX baskets of indices.

Our activities

The company is equally at home in the wholesale and the manufacture of construction materials.

It holds a defining position in the market for facade insulation, pitched-roof insulation and dry construction system elements. Its product base is secured primarily by production at its ISO- and TÜV-certified manufacturing sites in Hungary, Serbia and Germany, and by strategic manufacturing partnerships.

In view of the growing demand for fibrous insulation materials, the company has focused on the manufacture of glass wool insulation to serve Hungarian and Central Eastern European market demand. A further strategic objective is to bring the modular business division to success as soon as possible.

With an established customer-focused sales system, constant monitoring of the quality of the products manufactured and marketed, a stable product supply background and flexible logistics solutions, we provide our partners with competitive business services.

Our products

The greater part of the company group's turnover comprises our own manufactured products, or products custom made under our own brand name.

We offer more than one thousand certified, CE marked products in 6 product groups.

  1. Facade insulation systems
  2. Roofing foils and roofing elements
  3. Dry construction system
  4. Heat insulation, sound- and waterproofing materials
  5. Construction industry accessory products
  6. Products for industrial usage

Sustainability

We consider sustainability, energy efficiency and environmental protection criteria to be especially important, both in our internal processes and in the manufacture and development of our products.

We reduce the environmental load with selective waste collection and with environmentally aware modification of our appliances and vehicle fleet.

Social responsibility

As a committed adherent of social responsibility, Masterplast has for years promoted various causes by making donations, with the cooperation of its staff.

In a collaboration with the Hungarian Save the Children Foundation dating back many years, we offer help in the acquisition of special instruments, and our training in first aid protocol run for schoolteachers arouses great interest. Besides this, we support building projects promoting child welfare and equal opportunities with our products and consultancy.
